Singapore Airline Interline Agreements

by Brian on October 8, 2021

Specific pro-rata agreements offer S7 passengers a unique way to travel around the world at surprisingly attractive prices, made available exclusively to S7 by their partner airlines. Singapore Rewards can usually be booked through Star Alliance partners such as Air Canada Aeroplan and United MileagePlus, with a few non-alliance partners such as Alaska Airlines and Virgin Atlantic. The airline has always limited first and long-distance business class awards to its partners and has reserved these coveted seats for members of its own program. The ticket office you check in depends on the airline that makes the first flight of your itinerary. For example, everyone knows that S7 offers the largest network in Russia. But we are not resting on our laurels and are expanding our air network east and west. S7 now actively works with 30 airlines and serves hundreds of destinations around the world. “The temporary suspension of award seats on SQ/MI under partner airlines` frequent flyer programs is in line with Singapore Airlines` current policy, Interline Routes due to border entries and transit restrictions for connections imposed by different countries, to limit limits. At present, the suspension of premium payments is valid until November 2020 and is subject to further review on the basis of market conditions. Singapore Airlines is one of the most welcoming airlines. Its KrisFlyer program collaborates with all major transferable points programs, it doesn`t charge fuel surcharges on its own metal, and its flights are usually easy to book through partners, at least in economy class. Thanks to these partnerships, you can travel to New York, Singapore, Hanoi, London, Zurich, Geneva, Madrid or any other destination from your city. Part of the route is served by the S7 and the other by a partner airline.

A ticket for the entire trip can be purchased at any S7 point of sale or on the S7 Airlines website. As a rule, these flights are cheaper than the purchase of two separate tickets for a given trip due to the special fares concluded between airlines under partnership agreements. Delta claims to have pro.delta.com/content/agency/us/en/p an interline agreement. This break is attributed to COVID-related travel restrictions and should therefore only be temporary. However, the fact that this has already lasted four months and is expected to last at least four months is somewhat worrying. Hopefully, the partners will regain access in early 2021 – and other airlines won`t follow suit. In mid-August, we found that Singapore was blocking the availability of rewards for its partners, including United MileagePlus and Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan. This was initially only supposed to last until 1 September, but was later extended until November. Now, the airline TPG has announced that the suspension will continue at least until March 2021. If you get KVS tools, you can see if SQ agrees with this Interline statement.
